Although the trailer paints a cold, hard picture, the film’s strongest moments are actually its least violent. The ending may disappoint some, but this is a nod to the short story it’s based on.

My complaint would be around the creature design, which was rather bland overall. That, and the intrusive product placement: HP-brand controllers? Unless this is a clue to the future of their PC business, I’m having none of it.
